Revolution of 1917–1921 in different formats (flipping through issues of the "Ukrainian Historical Journal")

Abstract

In current article author made an attempt to trace how during a long-time history of the journal on its pages had changed the vision of the events of the revolution of 1917–1921. During the Soviet period it was presented as “The Great October Socialist Revolution in Ukraine” and covered schematically mainly through the prism of the activities of the Bolshevik Party. With the end of the totalitarian regime, this paradigm was rejected, but a detailed picture of the national revolution was reproduced.
