Abstract

Credit infrastructure of Ukrainian agriculture in the conditions of agrarian reforms o the second half of the 19th – the beginning of the 20th centuries has been characterized in the article. The infrastructure consisted of such elements as agricultural subsidiary
savings cash-desks, agricultural banks, saving-lending and credit partnerships, and also zemstvo (local self-governing body) cash-desks of small loans. It has been found that the majority of credit resources to large landowners was provided by Dvorianstvo (Nobility) bank, while joint stock mortgage loans and Peasants’ out of land and State banks played considerably less role in this respect. The author has also paid attention to such kinds of credits as government loans for agricultural improvement and arrangement of farm type economies during Stolypin agrarian reform.
