Financial model
Ukrainian Historical Journal is an open access journal. All available options are free for users. Articles and materials are published under the CC BY-NC-ND 4.0 licence (https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-nd/4.0/), which allows reading, downloading, copying, distributing, printing, linking to full-text versions of articles, or using them for any other lawful purpose without prior permission from the journal or author.
The preparation of identical electronic and printed versions of the journal is carried out thanks to the Support Program for Journals of the NAS of Ukraine. Thus, any submission of an article to the journal is free of charge. At the same time, authors, reviewers, and members of the editorial board do not receive any royalties. The institutional and organisational support provided by the NAS of Ukraine does not influence the decisions made by the editorial board, and the editorial office adheres to this principle in practice.
The “Akademperiodyka” Publishing House of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine publishes the paper version of the journal. The state programme covers all financial expenses for publishing.
Engaged institutions and higher education establishments can subscribe to the paper version of the journal through the “Ukrinformnauka” Subscription Agency ( https://u-i-n.com.ua/ua/).
As an academic publication, the Ukrainian Historical Journal does not have an advertising policy and does not place any advertisements on its website or in the pages of the journal. The published content is forbidden to use for commercial purposes.
Any marketing activities, including the enlistment of manuscripts for publication in the journal, are corresponding, appropriately targeted, and discreet. Information about the founders, publisher, and journal is true and does not mislead readers or authors.
