О.М.Асаткін – вигаданий "фальсифікатор" перепису населення 1937 р.

Висвітлюються основні етапи партійної й управлінської діяльності начальника статистичного управління УСРР О.Асаткіна. Досліджено його номенклатурну та особисту участь в організації всесоюзного перепису населення 1937 р. на території республіки. На матеріалах архівно-кримінальної справи, протоколів допиту спростовано звинувачення у фальсифікації перепису. Виявлено демографічну статистику, яка засвідчує загальну кількість втрат у роки Голодомору 1932–1933 рр. в УСРР – понад 7 млн осіб.
