Як деколонізувати студії ҐУЛАҐУ? Панівні російські наративи та перспективи відновлення епістемологічної справедливості

Мета — розглянути проблему росієцентричності історії ҐУЛАҐУ в контексті дискусії про деколонізацію радянських студій, яка розгорнулася у західній академії на тлі російсько-української війни.
Методологія полягає в наскрізному аналізі світової історіографії ҐУЛАҐУ, який дозволив встановити, що основні дослідження ґрунтуються саме на російських / російськомовних джерелах і публікаціях, що задають тематичні рамки, візії й оцінки.
Наукова новизна. Вперше на конкретних прикладах показано, як такий підхід призводить до однобічного та викривленого знання про ҐУЛАҐ як про складне історичне явище.
Висновки. Доводиться, що панування російських наративів й ігнорування перспектив інших національних груп є продовженням імперської політики СРСР та проявом епістемологічної несправедливості. Пропонується вийти за межі класичних російськомовних текстів про ҐУЛАҐ й активніше включати в історичний аналіз різножанрові джерела особового походження представників і представниць інших етнічних груп, що дозволить побачити розмаїття досвідів неволі, зумовлених різними соціальними ідентичностями в’язнів (національними, ґендерними, релігійними, політичними, професійними тощо).
