Abstract

Summary. Non-Hodgkin’s lymphomas are heterogeneous group of malignant diseases that develop from
the lymphatic system. Non-Hodgkin’s lymphomas result from the accumulation of genetic aberrations promoting selective growth of the malignant clone. Genetic defects in lymphomas are highly specific and include
translocations, deletions, which may arise as a result of
recombination errors or errors of isotype’s shift. This article provides a brief overview of these disorders.
