Abstract

Summary. The data of professional literature concerning the
frequency of occurrence, clinical course, and results of treatment of patients with primary heart malignant fibrohistiocytoma (MFH) are presented. The case of heart MFH is described in a 62-year-old woman receiving treatment at the
Department of Chemotherapy № 1 of the Kyiv City Clinical Cancer Center. The attention is focused on the complexity of diagnosis of MFH, its extremely low sensitivity to chemotherapy, tendency to recurrence, unfavorable prognosis.
