EVALUATION OF OBJECTS OF INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS IN THE MEDICAL AND BIOLOGICAL FIELD AS A STAGE OF THEIR COMMERCIALIZATION

The main approaches to the assessment of objects of intellectual property rights in oncology are considered, depending on their types and degree of legal protection. The value of property rights to objects of intellectual property rights of specific scientific and technical developments of the Institute of Experimental Pathology, Oncology and Radiobiology named after R.E. Kavetsky National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine as examples of medical innovations. For the evaluation, a cost approach was chosen, taking into account the coefficients of moral wear, costs of legal protection, marketing research, conducting scientific research, etc. Establishing a reasonable assessment of objects of intellectual property rights in the medical and biological field, in particular, in oncology, provides an objective basis for making management decisions regarding the strategy of commercialization of objects of intellectual property rights, therefore, it is its most important component.
