Abstract

At the Institute of Experimental Pathology, Oncology and Radiobiology (IEPOR) named after R.E. Kavetsky of the NAS of Ukraine on October 12-13, 2021, at the initiative and support of the Council of Young Scientists of the Institute, a scientific and practical conference of young scientists "Modern Oncology: from fundamental research to new therapeutic approaches" dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the Independence of Ukraine was held. Another memorable date to which this conference was timed is the 95th anniversary of the birth of Kaleria Pavlovna Ganina (1926–2001), a scientist in the field of human cancer genetics, Honored Worker of Science and Technology of Ukraine, laureate of the O.O.
Bogomolets Prize of the NAS of Ukraine.
