В классификации Всемирной организации здравоохранения 2016 г. приведены некоторые уточнения относительно определения Т- и ЕК-клеточных
новообразований. Основные изменения являются результатом генетических исследований. Опухоли из гистиоциов и дендритных клеток сгруппированы с учетом функциональных свойств их нормальных аналогов.
