Abstract

The money and credit system of Ukraine is examined. Based on the analysis of indicators reflecting the dynamics of basic processes on the money market, the reasons for arising main problems connected with prices regulations in the economy have been revealed. A comparative analysis of inflation rate in Ukraine and developed countries allowed to reveal main disadvantages of the mechanism ruling in the money and credit system of Ukraine.
