Abstract

The article examines changes in the structure of energy resources consumption in Ukraine. It has been determined that energy-capacity of the Ukrainian economy, especially of the industry, dropped whereas on the transport risen. At the same time, the consumption of energy resources in the agriculture and by population has decreased. The share of imported energy resources remains high while consumption of domestic coal reduces and costs for its production raise. The necessity is grounded to adopt the law on energy policy of Ukraine, to activate state regulation of energy resources production and consumption including strengthening of sanctions for their efficient consumption.
