Abstract

The article gives insight into the notion «human capital» as an economic category. The role and place of the human capital in the system of other economic categories were investigated. The analysis of the human capital category as interpreted by the scholars was made. All aspects concerning the role of the human capital theory in creating the conception of human development were examined.
