Abstract

The article considers the present Ukrainian legislation in the sphere of social protection of the population. It defines legal, economic and organizational bases for formation and realization of the system of social help to the population. The basic drawbacks in the existing legislative base are defined and corresponding proposals on its perfection are offered.
