Abstract

The paper proves the necessity of introducing the system of city planning that includes different stages and allows to control step_by_step solution of the problem set in the strategic plan. The role of short-, middle- and long_term plans in this system is defined. The differences in the methodology of their elaboration are analyzed. The problem of information support is put forward.
