Abstract

The paper presents approbation of methods developed to estimate the impact of innovative activity in the labour sphere on the regional development; the hypothesis that the development of any region’s economy depends on the activity in the labour sphere is grounded and proved by empirical researches; the necessity of increasing the innovative activity in the labour sphere was proved from the point of view of providing the region competitiveness under the present financial crisis.
