Abstract

Corruption is considered as the phenomenon which is derived outside from the culture to the sphere of crime in the societies of primary (creative) cultures and as the phenomenon inherent naturally to the societies of secondary (imitation) cultures. General (psychological and biological) and specific (cultural-historical, philosophical, ethical, social and political) grounds for corruption are analyzed. In this context the peculiarities of criminal and corruption consciousness in Ukraine are demonstrated.
