Abstract

The paper investigates urgent problems concer­ning a legal status of the founder of print media, edito­rial board, publisher and other subjects of print media. The corresponding legislation of Ukraine is analyzed and compared with the profile law of Russia. The ways of eliminating legislative gaps and improving the legislation regulating the mass media are offered.
