PRELIMINARY EVALUATION OF THE POTENTIAL OF CLUSTERING IN DONETSK REGION’S ECONOMY

Abstract

Theoretical and practical material was generali­zed to determine the clustering potential of the re­gional economy. The methods are proposed to make a preliminary evaluation of the clustering potential of Donetsk region’s economy. The conclusion is made that specific implementation of cluster policy in the regions of Ukraine requires consideration of historically shaped economic climate, as well as inter- and intra- regional differentiation in the regional development.
