Abstract

The article investigates the problem of a socio-economic form of a human factor of production in the public sector of a mixed economy on the basis of a relatively new methodological approach. Through the analysis of the characteristics of this factor in comparison with the private sector of the economy the conclusion is made that it has its own economic value, and its bearer — a man extends the sphere and increases the impact on the economy and society that moves to the new economy (knowledge economy).
