The purpose of the paper is to study relations in the field of legal support for the generation and use of energy, to identify
factors that contribute to or hinder the effective provision of industries and areas of the economy and social sphere,
to suggest ways to promote the spread of the components of the legal model of green energy in Ukraine to various sectors
of the economy. During the preparation of the paper, various methods of scientific research were used. They include
dialectical, analytical synthetic, historical legal and comparative legal, formal logical, and system structural. They were
used to substantiate conclusions and make proposals for theory, practice, and legislation. The scientific novelty consists
in analyzing the possibilities of disseminating the components of the legal model of “green” energy in Ukraine to various
sectors of the economy. The main elements of such components included the elements defined in Article 1 of the Law
of Ukraine On Alternative Energy Sources by the terms “alternative energy sources” and “renewable energy sources”,
where the former, in turn, are part of the latter. Their distribution in the field of economics is proposed: — branches
and spheres of industry (ferrous and non-ferrous metallurgy, metalworking, mechanical engineering, electric power, fuel,
chemical) and agricultural production; - transport sector; and social and domestic sphere. Among the factors that pose
a threat not only to “green” energy but to the entire energy system of Ukraine are the aggressive actions of the troops of the
Russian Federation, as well as the slowness in introducing “green” energy generation due to the high cost of equipment,
are identified. Factors contributing to the dissemination of the components of the legal model of “green” energy in Ukraine
in certain industries and areas of economic activity have been identified: - the presence of a large number of real estate
objects (industrial sectors), - the availability of water, land, and production resources (agricultural and industrial complex),
- design features of vehicles and other devices and mechanisms that are convenient and suitable for the location of green
energy generation facilities (transport). A programmatic approach has been identified as progressive for the dissemination
of the components of the legal model of “green” energy in Ukraine, within the framework of which the means of the state’s
regulatory influence on the activities of business entities, named in the second part of Article 12 of the Economic Code
of Ukraine and the provisions of special legislation, are determined by the means of promoting the components.
