Abstract

The article presents a conceptual approach to understanding of the interregional integration process based on consideration of interregional integration from the spatial point of view. It allows to unite spatial and organizational forms of interregional integration in contrast to the traditional approach, which considers them as separate phenomena. The taiget function of interregional integrative interaction is determined. Four main studies of the interregional integration process are described and are analyzed on the example of the Ukrainian regions.
