Abstract

The article considers theoretical bases for forming methodology of economic diagnostics of development of a region. Based on the paradigms of region as a territory, as a system, and as space (environment), theoretical positions as for realization of idea of development of a scientific tool for cognition of functional-spatial transformation of productive forces elements are described. The objective base for research of regional processes and phenomena is offered.
