Open Access Policy
The Editorial Board of the "Economics and Law" journal follows the principles of the Budapest Open Access Initiative (BOAI). We support the idea of the free dissemination of scientific information, as open access to research results in the fields of economics and law fosters global knowledge exchange and professional discussion.
Key Provisions:
- Free Access: All scientific articles in the journal are available for reading, downloading, copying, and printing on the official website immediately upon publication. Users may use full-text materials (PDF) for scientific, educational, or informational purposes without requiring prior permission, subject to proper citation rules.
- Archiving and Distribution: Electronic copies of the issues, which are identical to the printed versions, are stored in the national database "Scientific Periodicals of Ukraine" of the Vernadsky National Library of Ukraine.
- Legal Deposit: The distribution of printed copies is carried out through a subscription system and mandatory deposit in accordance with the Law of Ukraine "On the Mandatory Copy of Documents".
- Licensing and Copyright: Articles are published under the terms of the international license Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivs (CC BY-NC-ND). This allows for the redistribution of the material with mandatory credit to the author, but prohibits commercial use or the creation of derivative works (remixes/transformations) without prior agreement.
- Self-Archiving: Authors retain copyright and the right to the academic use of the article. They have the right to deposit the Author’s Accepted Manuscript (AAM) in open institutional or thematic repositories, provided the CC BY-NC-ND license is respected (no changes, with attribution to the author and the source of the first publication). The "Economics and Law" journal receives the rights to publish and distribute the articles.
- Citation Requirements: The use of tables, graphic materials, or text fragments is permitted only with a correct bibliographic reference (author, article title, "Economics and Law", year, issue number, pages, and DOI).
Any full reprint of the journal's materials or their translation is possible only with the written consent of the editorial office.
