Complaints Policy

The editorial board will promptly and constructively respond to all complaints. The editorial board and the staff of "Economics and Law" will assess each complaint according to its nature and complexity and any decision reached will take into consideration the recommendations provided by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).

Suggestions or complaints are to be sent to the journal’s e-mail: econom.law.journal@gmail.com

All messages will be addressed and resolved within 30 working days. However, depending on the degree of complexity of the complaint, the complainant will be informed if additional time is required to conclude the inquiry.

The complaint must be succinct, specific, and provide sufficient evidence of a possible violation of publication ethics. If possible, supporting documents as evidence of the particular request should also be provided.

Personal complaints against authors, editors, reviewers or the Journal’s editorial board shall receive an answer that indicates the reasons why the complaint has been regarded as outside the journal's remit. In addition, the journal will refrain from undertaking an investigation when complaints are submitted in an offensive, threatening, or defamatory manner.
