Archiving

The "Economy and Law" journal implements measures to ensure perpetual access to published scientific content and its long-term preservation:

1. Digital Preservation and Accessibility
  • Institutional Archiving: All published issues of the journal (full-text articles and metadata) are stored in the national database "Scientific Periodicals of Ukraine" of the Vernadsky National Library of Ukraine. This guarantees access to the materials even in the event of technical changes to the journal's website.
  • Digital Identification (DOI): Each article is assigned a unique Digital Object Identifier (DOI). This ensures link stability: even if the file's location on the server changes, the article will always be accessible via its permanent digital identifier.
  • Data Formats: The editorial office provides materials in PDF format, which is the industry standard for long-term storage and consistent rendering across devices.

2. Self-Archiving Policy for Authors
We encourage authors to disseminate their research to increase its visibility and citation:
  • Permitted Versions: Authors may deposit (post) both the Author’s Accepted Manuscript (AAM) and the official Version of Record (VoR).
  • Deposit Locations: Institutional repositories (university digital archives), personal websites, or academic networking platforms (e.g., ResearchGate, Academia.edu).
  • Terms: Archiving is permitted without an embargo period (immediately upon publication). It is a mandatory requirement to include an active hyperlink to the original article via its DOI.
