The 50th Anniversary of the Cosmonautics Museum named after S.P. Koroliov. The 70th Anniversary of the Birth of Oleh Oleksiovych Grachev

Abstract

The editorial board of “Science and Science of Science” journal and the staff of Dobrov Institute for Scientific and Technological Potential and Science History Studies of the NAS of Ukraine congratulate the staff of the Cosmonautics Museum. The first of August in this year marks the 50th anniversary of the day when the memorial house-museum of Sergy Koroliov was opened in Zhytomyr, which laid the beginning of this Museum. By now, the museum has been a full-fledged research entity. Apart from performing the education and enlightenment function, and giving an opportunity to the visitors to get acquainted with unique exhibits of the practical cosmonautics, it instills in the younger generation the awareness of the planet-wide unity of the people on the Earth, and teaches them to dream and to work for the realization of their dreams. The staff of the H.M. Dobrov Institute for Scientific and Technological Potential and Science History of the NAS of Ukraine, together with the editorial board of the journal Science and Science of Science, also congratulated Oleh Oleksiiovych Hrachev — a renowned Ukrainian scholar and politician, member of the journal’s editorial board, who has made a significant contribution to the scientific activities of the Institute and to political processes in the country — on his anniversary.
