The 70th Anniversary of Olexandr Hryhorovych Luhovskyi. The 50th Anniversary of Ihor Oleksiiovych Bulkin

Abstract

The article consists of the 70th-anniversary congratulation to Olexandr Luhovsky, a science and technology historian known in Ukraine and beyond, and the 50th-anniversary congratulation to Ihor Bulkin, a follower of Kyiv science of science school, head of Interdisciplinary Laboratory on Science and Technology Setting and Implementation under the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine and Dobrov Institute for Scientific and Technological Potential and Science History Studies of the NAS of Ukraine. Details are provided about research careers and publication activity of jubilarians, and their involvement in research projects: O. Luhovsky took part in creating a database on history of culture in Ukraine (bibliography on history of science, archive documents), including new disclosed documents in it; I. Bulkin took part in the projects “Theoretical and methodological support for comprehensive analysis of science & technology potential of Ukraine in the conditions of transition to the innovation-based model of the national economy” (2013—2015), “Theoretical and methodological substantiation for the development of science & technology management system in Ukraine” (2016—2018), “The national strategy of Ukraine on intellectual property for 2020—2025”, etc.
