Abstract

The 46th Symposium of the International Committee for the History of Technology (ICOHTEC) on the theme "Technology and Power" was held from July 22–27, 2019, in Katowice, Poland, at the University of Silesia. The event brought together researchers from various countries, including Poland, Ukraine, Germany, the USA, Canada, and Russia, to discuss the interplay between technology and power. The ICOHTEC Summer School, held concurrently, united young scholars who presented their research and methodological approaches. The lecturer, A. Kajner from the Royal Institute of Technology, addressed the topic "The Power of Infrastructure at the End of the 20th Century."
