The Anniversary Conference on Science and Technology History

Abstract

The 20th (commemorative) All-Ukrainian scientific conference “Vital issues of science and technology history”, held on October 7—8, 2021 in Kyiv, was hosted by the National Museum of Architecture History “Kyiv Fortress”. The conference was launched in 2002 by the State Polytechnic Museum at the National Technical University of Ukraine “Kyiv Polytechnic Institute”. The article gives details on the conference history and organizers, of its expanding geographical coverage. In spite of the pandemic, the conference, as always, was a success, it covered nearly all the actively working specialists in science and technology history. The article contains reviews of organizations which representatives took part in this commemorative conference and participants’ presentations at the plenary session and the sections “Studies of science and education development” and “Technology development from the historic perspective”.
