Welcoming address by Juras Banys, President of the Lithuanian Academy of Sciences

Abstract

The welcoming address expresses the determined support to the Ukrainian R&D and scientists. It informs that on November, 29, 2022, the Presidium of the Lithuanian Academy of Sciences approved a resolution to provide aid to the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine. The most effective methods for its provision were discussed at the meeting of Yu. Banis with the president of the NAS of Ukraine A. Zagorodny. Yu. Banis expresses deep belief in the Ukraine’s victory and gratitude for excellent organization of the symposium and for the opportunity to hear and learn important information first-hand.
