The Conference on Science Studies and Science History “Dobrov Readings” Dedicated to 95th Anniversary of G.M. Dobrov’s Birth

Abstract

The conference “Dobrov readings” devoted to the 95th anniversary of G.M. Dobrov was held on March 11, 2024 in Dobrov Institute for Scientific and Technological Potential and Science History Studies of the NAS of Ukraine. This event, commemorating the outstanding scientist, the founder of the Ukrainian school of science studies, brought together researchers to discuss research evaluation issues. This conference organized online saw presentations of staff from Dobrov Institute and Dobrov’s disciples who spoke about research in the science & technology and innovation management field. The main themes were methods for performance evaluation in research institutions and transformations of Dobrov’s ideas in the current context.
