Abstract

On 24 February 2025, the National Medical Library of Ukraine hosted a presentation of the book “History That Is Worth to Be Heard / Doctor Dubrovsky”, released by the Publishing House “Akademperiodyka”. This edition is a chronicle narrative of a military physician who took direct part in the warfare near Avdiivka, lived by soldiers and recorded all the events with amazing accuracy. This is a first-person story aimed to debunk myths and illusions about the war. Readers may find in it a memorable and honest example of recording the bitterest events of Russia’s large-scale war against Ukraine. The event was attended by the author, Yevhen Dubrovsky, his blood brothers, staff of the National Medical Library, Publishing House “Akademperiodyka”, and staff from institutes of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine.
