I International Scientific Conference “History of Science and Science Studies: Interdisciplinary Studies”

Abstract

The conference was held on October, 29–31, 2018 in the city of Baku (Azerbaijan). Its organizers were the National Academy of Sciences (NAS) of Azerbaijan, and the Institute for Science History of the NAS of Azerbaijan. The conference was held in the form of plenary sessions (the first day), sections (the second day), and a round table (the third day). The conference was contributed by more than 150 scientists and experts from Germany, China, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Ukraine, and Azerbaijan. The plenary session at the first conference day listened to the presentations of 16 scientists from various countries, representing research institutes of the Russian Academy of Sciences, the NAS of Azerbaijan, the NAS of Ukraine, and others. Details on the activities of the Institute for Science History of the NAS of Azerbaijan were delivered by its director, doctor of history Məryəm Seyidbəyli, who spoke about achieved results and future plans of the Institute.
