The Author(s) can withdraw the submission (whether with or without explanation) at any stage of publication preparing.
Retraction of Published Paper
The Editorial implements a mechanism for Retracting of Papers to comply with the Retraction guidelines by Committee on Publication Ethics COPE and to ensure the integrity of the scientific record. It can be Papers in which serious irregularities or errors have been found, such as the conclusions of the work being unreliable or invalid; when the work is found to be unethical or illegal; when the Editorials mistakenly published the same paper or an incorrect version; or when there is evidence of systematic manipulation of the publication process, etc.
The purpose of retraction is to correct the publications and ensure its integrity, not to punish the authors.
The reason to retract a publication if Editorial no longer have confidence in the results and conclusions reported in the paper; if there is clear evidence of major errors, irregularities in the data or images, or any form of misrepresentation (eg, fraud, identity theft or fictitious authorship) that compromise the reliability of the findings.
If the findings have been published elsewhere without proper attribution, permission, or justification, or material or data have been used without proper authorisation. Therefore unethical research practices, compromised peer review, or undisclosed conflicts of interest that could bias interpretation of the work or recommendations by peer reviewers etc.
If there are significant indications that an Paper is subject to retraction, the Editorials will publish an Expression of Concern on the journal website while the deficiencies and extent of the violations are investigated.
If a decision of retraction is made and a term of appeal is expired than a Paper will be retracted according to the general Retraction Procedure with an Amendment to the Scholarly Record:
-
A Retraction Notice, which contains own DOI identifier, the original paper's title, authors data, the retraction reasons explain, provides the original paper reference, etc. is publish in the following the retraction decision journal issue;
-
The Original Paper remains part of the scholarly record but is clearly marked as retracted (red “Retracted” mark on the Paper web page and oblique watermark “Retracted” on Paper file pages);
-
Retracting data (“Retracted” mark) of Original Paper and data of Retraction Notice are register in necessary indexes, databases and journal archives.
In cases of essential violations as legal violations, defamation, or serious risk to public health, etc., the paper can be retracted on a Retraction and Removal Procedure, where the file of the Original Paper is removed from the digital record, but the metadata with “Retracted and Removed” mark remains. This procedure is also accompanied by the publication of a Retraction Notice.
If a published Paper needs to be corrected, the Retraction with an Amendment Procedure is not used for ensuring the integrity of the scholarly record. Instead, It possible whether to Publish a Corrected Paper linked to Original Paper or to Publish a Notice of not essential corrections. Also, it is possible to Retract with Republish of Paper, which the Retraction Notice and the Corrected Version of Paper are published simultaneously.
