The Information Technologies and Systems Journal was founded in 2025 by the Resolution of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine № 522, 26.12.2024 as merged Control Systems and Computers journal and Cybernetics and Сomputer Engineering journal. Founders: The National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, The Institute of Information Technologies and Systems of the NAS of Ukraine, V.M. Glushkov Institute of Cybernetics of the NAS of Ukraine.
The aim is to to publish the results of scientific research. The tasks of the journal are to ensure verification, impartial review, publishing, to promote the development of publication skills of young scientists, etc.
The journal publishes original scientific and review papers about fundamental and applied research results of informatics and information technologies, intelligent control and systems, methods and means of information technology support of knowledge, application of the mentioned technologies in various fields of life.
The scope of the journal corresponds to the field of knowledge F "Information Technologies and Systems" with specialties F1 ─ Applied Mathematics, F3 ─ Computer Science, F4 ─ Systems Analysis and Data Science, F5 ─ Cybersecurity and Information Protection, F6 ─ Information Systems and Technologies (according to the ISCED-F 2013 they are: 0541 ─ Mathematics, 0613 ─ Software and applications development and analysis, 0688 ─ Inter-disciplinary programs and qualifications involving Information and Communication Technologies, 0612 ─ Database and network design and administration, 0612 ─ Database and network design and administration) etc.
Currently, the journal is being prepared for inclusion in the list of scientific professional publications of Ukraine.
Also, currently the journal is included in the Journal Support Program of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine and one does not charge authors for publications does not charge any fees to the authors from submission to publication, including submission fees, editorial processing fees, article processing charges (APC), per-page fee, color charges etc.
Submission are technically checked for plagiarism in the StrikePlagiarism.com system and peer-reviewed (usually double-blind).
The papers are an Open Access under the CC BY-NC-ND 4.0 license - Attribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivatives 4.0 International.
This is an open access journal which means that all content is freely available without charge to the user or his/her institution. Users are allowed to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to the full texts of the articles, or use them for any other lawful purpose, without asking prior permission from the publisher or the author.
