Abstract

On May 19, 2026, Yurii Tunytsya, a well-known scientist in the field of environmental economics and environmental protection, Doctor of Economics, Professor, Honored Worker of Science and Technology of Ukraine, recipient of the Order of Merit of the 2nd and 3rd degrees, Honorary Professor of the Transilvania University of Brașov (Romania), Academician of the NAS of Ukraine, celebrates his 85th anniversary.

The scientific community congratulates the esteemed scientist on his anniversary, wishes him good health, creative inspiration and inexhaustible energy on the path of development of Ukrainian economic science.

Yuriy Tunytsya is widely known outside our country. His scientific achievements in the field of ecological economics (primarily the idea of the Ecological Constitution of the Earth) are known in many corners of the globe. That is why his friends and colleagues, scientists with whom he crossed paths during his long journey as a scholar, representatives of the global scientific community join in congratulating him on his anniversary.
