Abstract

The article analyzes the latest trends in China's international economic and non-economic policy, which have clearly manifested themselves in recent years, especially in the context of the current global security crisis. The main attention is paid to the evolution of the country's political and economic priorities in the international sphere, changes in policy regarding global and regional economic organizations, and their impact on the system of world order and the state of international security.

The author shows that the strategic initiatives adopted by China in recent years are driving the spread of alternative views on world order based on the implementation of the principle of multipolarity, the establishment of an alternative model of the globalization process, international development based on the strategic concept "A Shared Future for Mankind". This policy is systemic in nature and strategically oriented towards a significant change in the current mechanisms of global regulation. This international course of China, viewed by the West as a strategic challenge, has initiated a period of strategic competition for the future format of the world order and has also caused trends toward fragmentation of the global economy.

The article’s emphasis is laid on the need for broad global cooperation, rather than global confrontation and military actions in the process of transition to a renewed world order. The future format of resolving the global security crisis and the end of the Russia-Ukraine war will have a significant impact on this process. It is substantiated that China may have a big say in this process based on the triumph of the rule of law, which will significantly affect the future level of trust in China's global initiatives and the possibility of their implementation.
