Increasing globalization trends in today's society have led to the emergence of new requirements for the competitiveness of business entities. Finding additional financial resources for the implementation of social and business projects is of particular importance. Thus, research into the manifestations of crowdfunding, the specifics of the functioning of global, regional and national markets is more in demand. Actualization of the applied aspects of crowdfunding has led to the appearance of a number of studies of the topic in the works of foreign and domestic authors. However, the issues of systematization of the research of the specifics of the functioning and the specific characteristics of the crowdfunding market in modern conditions remain unanswered, which is what determined the purpose of the article. Comparative characteristics of the nature and key types of crowdfunding are substantiated. Clarification of the conceptual apparatus is made in the context of the separation of structural components and functional manifestations of crowdfunding. The trends of the global crowdfunding market are analyzed. The manifestations and characteristics of its regional markets are substantiated, in particular, the specificity of the European crowdfunding market is analyzed. Examples of crowdfunding platforms that form the basis for accelerating the development of Germany's national crowdfunding market are given. The manifestations of crowdfunding in Ukraine are substantiated: examples are given, the specifics of functioning of the largest domestic crowdfunding platforms ("Big Idea" and Na Starte) and in the whole market of crowdfunding are considered. Conclusions have been made regarding the development potential of global and domestic crowdfunding markets.
