The conference was held in a combined format (with the involvement of the technical capabilities of the Zoom internet platform), which was due to both the peculiarities of working in martial law conditions and the breadth of the geographical representation of the participants – from New Zealand to Mexico (in this regard, given the significant difference Time Zones, the conference was held over two days). Plotnikov (the IEP, the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine), M. Makhmutova (Kazakhstan), J. Carrillo-Pina (Mexico), Director of the Diplomatic Academy of Ukraine, Ambassador H. Nadolenko, etc.

Paton (Canada), Visiting Researcher at the University of Tokyo, Prof. I. Piliaiev (IEP of NASU), Ambassador of Ukraine to the Republic of Tunisia V. Khomanets, L. Shageleshvili (Georgia) and others.
Summarizing the work of the Conference, the First Deputy Director of the Institute for Economics and Forecasting, Prof. A. Grytsenko, highly appreciated the level of reports and speeches of the participants, noting that domestic research in the field of international economics is held back by the lack of a specialized scientific institution in the system of the National Academy of Science of Ukraine, and offered to recommend turning the Sector of Financial Research into a Department for International Economy with the subsequent revival on its basis of a separate institution – the Institute of World Economy and International Relations of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine.
Considering the importance of the topic discussed at the conference and the interest in it from the academic community and political circles of Ukraine, the Editorial Board of the Journal decided to publish some reports and speeches.
