Abstract

The report emphasizes that quantum technologies and quantum engineering are one of the key areas of development of modern science and technology, especially considering their potentially revolutionary applications in the defense sector, medicine, and also in the digital economy. It is noted that the further development of quantum technologies is impossible without fundamental research in the field of low-temperature physics. A number of significant results in this area, obtained by scientists of the B. Verkin Institute for Low Temperature Physics and Engineering of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine in cooperation with other specialized academic institutions and universities of Ukraine, are presented.
