Анотація

В огляді систематизовано дані літератури та результати власних досліджень, присвячені ролі білка ретинобластоми (RB) у життєдіяльності стовбурових плюрипотентних клітин (СК). Висвітлено питання щодо впливу протеїну RB на проходження клітинного циклу та розвиток патологічних станів, участь цього протеїну у контролі диференціювання клітин певного гістогенезу, а також існуючі дані про порушення епігенетичної регуляції експресії специфічних для СК генів за рахунок взаємодії їх продуктів з протеїном RB. Наш огляд може бути корисним для подальшого вивчення та розуміння властивостей СК, а також ефективності їх використання у медичній практиці.
