Abstract

The genetic profiling of wheat, barley and rice varieties was carried out by evaluating the intron length polymorphism of the actin genes for the first time. The differences were found between the wheat and barley varieties, and a sample of rice varieties was characterized as genetically monomorphic. In general, the possibility of using the assessment of the intron length polymorphism of the actin genes for the molecular genetic analysis of the grass family (Poaceae L.) has been proved.
