Abstract

The state of water in a hydrated sucrose powder, its cooled melt, and the composite system containing nanosilica A-300 and sucrose in a ratio of 3 : 1 is studied by low-temperature 1H NMR spectroscopy. It is shown that the adsorption of water in the composite is not accompanied by the dissolution of the sucrose immobilized on the SiO2 surface in the interphase water. The effect of increasing the solubility of sucrose upon placing the com posite in a deuterochloroform medium is revealed.
