Healthy Food as a Strategic Resource of National Safety of Ukraine

The theoretical and applied aspects of creation of ecologically safe food are examined in the article. It is analyzed the ecological problems of food safety in the integrated chain: soil — water — food product — people. It is outlined the priority directions of introduction of functional foods into the food allowance of different segments of the population, and categories of consumers which first of all need healthy food too.
