Dedicated to 100-th anniversary of Nosivka Agricultural Station

Abstract

Unknown pages of creative biography of academician of AS of USSR and AUAS K.K. Gedroyc (1872–1932) during his work on Nosivka Plant-Breeding-Experimental Station during 1912–1929, the results of which glorified it in the world measuring, were analysed in the article. Prehistory of All Ukrainian SEI of agricultural soil science establishment, where for academician K.K. Gedroyc from the side of Government of Ukraine the position of director-founder was planned, and also peripetias of electing him as the academician of AUAS first on the archived materials of CSAHA was considered. There is a suggestion to 100-th anniversary to appropriate the name of academician K.K. Gedroyc to Nosivka Plant-Breeding-Experimental Station of Chernihiv Institute of AIP in 2011.
