Biopharmaceutical informatics: new knowledge generation and development of medicines

Abstract

The article defines the expediency of computer technologies new trend development — biopharmaceutical informatics. It is proved that combination of these data with hierarchical system of «structure — activity» dependence analysis makes it possible to simulate the main pharmacokinetic parameters of new biologically active compounds. The examples of successful application of the developed approaches in medicines development are presented. High potential efficiency and availability of the specified technologies in the pharmaceutical industry were emphasized.
