Decoupling effect as a factor of interrelation between economic growth and pressure on environment

Abstract

The essence of decoupling as economic phenomenon is described in the article for the first time, it depicts country economy ability to grow economy power that is not accompanied by increase of pressure on environment. The results of decoupling-analysis of Ukrainian national economy fields functioning for 2001-2004 are presented based on correlation of general greenhouse gas emission and GDP growth.
