Innovation express-technologies of "direct" search of oil and gas clusters

Abstract

Possible ways to accelerate oil and gas deposits geological surveys as well as the role of innovative geophysical technologies in this field have been analyzed. The results of practical approbation of express technology for "direct” exploration of hydrocarbon accumulations with the use of geoelectrical techniques (SKIP-VERZ technology) at the well-known fields and promising areas in Ukraine, Kazakhstan and Russia were comprehended. A number of trends where active application of the above technology may provide noticeable results in the near future have been considered. It is recommended to include express technology for "direct” exploration and survey of hydrocarbon accumulations with the use of geoelectrical techniques in the complex of geological and geophysical methods as well as oil and gas deposits survey.
