Abstract

The article is dedicated to the memory of an outstanding scientist in the field of physical, physical-organic chemistry and materials science, laureate of the State Prize of Ukraine in the field of science and technology (1993), Honored Worker of Science and Technology of Ukraine (1996), laureate of the V.I. Vernadsky Gold Medal of the NAS of Ukraine (2022), the O.I. Brodsky Prize of the NAS of Ukraine (1999), the L.V. Pyzarzhevskii Prize of the NAS of Ukraine (1979), director of the Institute of Physical Chemistry named after L.V. Pyzarzhevskii of the NAS of Ukraine (1982—2008), Vice-President of the NAS of Ukraine (1998—2015), Doctor of Chemical Sciences (1969), Professor (1972), Academician of the NAS of Ukraine (1985) Vitaliy D. Pokhodenko.
